My Story
Many of you will already know that I suffered a brain tumour in 2008. Although the consultants said I would be lucky to last 10 years - I'm still here 11 years later!! I want to ensure more funding is channelled towards brain tumour research, and whilst all cancers are equally important if you know someone that suffers, this is one of the least well funded. That's why I decided to do the Shine Walk AGAIN! I'm walking with my good friends, Clare Scott & Lesley Paulson. Lesley's persuaded her hubbie to join us!! lol! My first one was in 2014 with these two lovely ladies, and the 13 miles was "an enjoyable experience, but really tiring! Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
