My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. This is for my mum who survived breast cancer, Eve, a shining star who inspired a whole nation with her story and who continues to inspire us all from her home in heaven, my beautiful friend Emma who lost her brave battle, my aunts, uncles, cousins who lost their fight and for the many clients I have witnessed both beating and losing to this awful disease.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
