My Story
For those that knew Clive he was always the life and soul of any party. A kind, gentle hard working person who only every saw the good in people. We were looking forward to getting married and spending the rest of our lives together when a visit to the GP for hiccups turned out to be Cancer of the Oesophagus. Clive made a great recovery, we got married and we returned to living life to the full but sadly on the day he should have got his 5 years all clear he was told the Cancer had come back in his bones and sadly he passed away October 2016. We all know how Cancer takes away your dreams, your future plans, your loved ones. Clive was my everything, my soulmate, my partner in crime my absolute world so its why I wanted to do this walk in his memory with the hope that one day this will be cured and many more people get to live their lives in full. I am also walking in memory of Nick Beechey who passed from Prostrate Cancer and Shanty Helim from Pancreatic Cancer.
