My Story
As most of you are probably aware I lost my lovely Mum recently on 22nd December 2016 from metatastic Breast Cancer to her Lungs. Mum fought a brave and dignified 16 year battle with this horrendous disease. Never ever complaining about her situation and living her life to the fullest. She wasn't going to let cancer beat her and she didn't for 16 long years. But eventually the cancer took hold and took her very quickly. I adored her and am determined to raise as much money in her name as I can to make sure that nobody has to endure what my Mum went through for 16 long years. And that nobody has to loose their Mother prematurely as I have. Mum was only 73 and should of been here for longer. This shocking disease claims the lives of women much younger and my heart aches for the children (adult or child) that are left behind. It's something you'll never get over nursing someone for months as I did and trying to hold down a full time job and homelife when a you want to do is spend every precious moment with your Mum who is your absolute world. Please donate and help stop anyone else ever having to go through what my Mum and me as her carer did. Every £ helps....Let's kick cancer together! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
