My Story
A few months ago, our grandmothers health started going downhill. She was losing weight, she had abdominal pains and she was losing her appetite. After a lot of trips to the hospital for several tests, we discovered our grandmother had pancreatic cancer. We are 8 sisters who have grown up together in one household and lived as a family throughout our childhood days. Today we stand united for our lovely grandmother who is going through the chemotherapy treatment for her Pancreatic Cancer. We love our grandmother, we would do anything to take this illness from her along with all the pain she has to suffer. However reality is cruel and we have had to come to terms with the fact that our grandmother has Cancer and all we can do is hold her hand and pray for her health. Just like us, there are many other families out there who are going through the same, maybe we can help someone else's grandparents, parents or other relatives by taking part in this cause. Cancer is happening right now, so we will take part in this Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives - It's the least we can do. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
