Rita Shah
A very close and dear friend of mine lost her sister three years ago to cancer. Last year, her other sister was diagnosed with bowel cancer. This is very real and really hits home when someone close loses a loved one. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so I have decided to join this walk for Rita and the many others who have lost their battle with cancer and to continue to raise awareness and raise money for Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Hopefully one day all cancers will be cured.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
