My Story
In October 2015 me and my family found out the devastating news that my grandad had cancer, after two short months on the 31st December, he sadly lost battle with this horrible disease. This year I have finally plucked up the courage to run the race for life in his memory. Knowing first hand how devastating cancer is for not only the person involved but the whole family I will also be running this race for all the family’s who have unfortunately been in the same position as mine. Everyone knows somebody that has either beaten cancer, has cancer or has lost their lives to cancer. Please donate to such an amazing cause which will help beat cancer sooner! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
