My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. It was 20 years this April that I lost my Mum to this cruel disease. She was only 61 (the age I am now). It really brings it home to me how important research is. With advanced screening and better treatments available hopefully all cancers will be treated and people won't have to lose loved ones.
