I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. I underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy and subsequent preventative surgery and I am now cancer free. Thanks to excellent care from the Breast Clinic at Western General Hospital, and the support from my family and friends, I am now grabbing a hold of my life again. I am in terrible shape, but I really feel that taking part in the 10k in June is a great motivation and a milestone to say, good bye to cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Please help raise money to this fantastic cause.
