I have lost two family members to cancer in 15 months, I am participating in the muddy challenge in their Memory. My mother was an amazing woman, strong and loving, she's been the most excellent Grandmother and someone I can only hope to emulate, when she fell ill she had never been really ill ever before so this was a huge shock to us all, I can only thank the Freeman hospital for caring so well for her that we had another 4 months with her, her initial presentation was so poor that she may have been taken right there that day, she was so determined to get and stay well we could have all been totally mistaken and that her diagnosis was wrong, unfortunately not and she was taken fairly quickly at the end. So for all the brave, strong cancer sufferers out there, this is for you and every one of us who could be affected at any time, any age and any gender. ♥️
