Hi I am a seventy years old wife and mother of two. Unfortunately I lost my mother Emily to breast cancer in 1975 she was 49 years old. Last year I lost my younger sister Sheila to cancer of gynaecological origin she was 67. Two years ago my son Mark who was 41 at the time was diagnosed with oral cancer he is doing well at the moment, and is checked on a regular basis, he is very positive and just continues to make the most of every day and enjoy his life. My daughter Emma and grandson Coben, who is Mark's eight year old son are taking part in the race for life with me.
