My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Jamie and I are taking on the Race for Life Pretty Muddy in memory of my stepmother and his stepgreat-grandma Audrey who died of ovarian cancer which could not be operated on or treated effectively. We want to contribute to improvements in research and treatment so no-one has to suffer as she did.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
