Jane's Race for Life
Hereford 5k 2019
Sun 2 Jun 2019 - Sun 2 Jun 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. Our family has lost a Mum and a sister both to lung cancer within 10 months of each other. In their honour and to help others.
In memory of
Ann Blyth (sister 56) + Nella Hill (mum)
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Our family lost a Mum and a sister both to lung cancer within 10 months of each other. My dear sister was the very first person to sponsor me in May for my first race for life in July 2008. We didn’t know she had cancer until early June. She died 14 August 2008. Mum died 13 June 2009 - I couldn’t do it that year but I have done race for life every year since. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
