My Story
This year Cancer has had a devastating effect on so many people. And recently it also hit us hard. Lucas and I have decided to do something proactive and try to help in the fight against Cancer by taking part in the Race for Life 5K on June 30th, especially for 2 very special people who we love so much. We want to be a part of putting Cancer in the past, of making it history and not a part of anyone’s future. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part, to raise money and save lives and help kick it's butt! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We will all know someone who is fighting it at some point in our lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so if you can spare any donation no matter how small we would be so grateful xxx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
