My Story

I madly decided that half a century was worth half a marathon!! So here I am - the only goal I set for this momentus point in my life and one in which I hope you'll support me! Cancer has affected many of us, either personally or in the lives of people close to us and I've certainly known people this year who have had to deal with what cancer has thrown at them which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
