My Story
Jane, Pen, Wendy, Anna, Jess and Izzy are walking 26 miles in the Yorkshire 3 peaks on 3rd September to raise money for breast cancer research. Our walk is to mark Wendy recently finishing her breast cancer treatment and Jane’s 15th year since breast cancer diagnosis and 10th year in remission. We both had different but very aggressive breast cancers and both benefitted from treatment that is the result of year's of research, trials and continuous improvements in understanding and targeting cancer that has been led by Cancer Research UK - so we wanted to do something to give a little back by raising money as well as creating a few memories, and a few blisters along the way.
