Living with cancer - 3 medical tattoos, 2 surgery scars, 1 fight. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Fortunately for me it was caught early. I had my op last May followed by 15 sessions of radiotherapy in July/August and am now taking tamoxifen for 5 years with yearly check- ups. It’s been an emotional time to say the least with many ups and downs. I couldn't have got through this without support from my husband, my daughter, friends, family and the NHS Breast Care Team. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
