My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives (I'm actually going to be running the 10k race, not 5k as it says above!). As you will probably know, I have been very privileged to work for Cancer Research UK at the Cambridge Institute as a scientist for the last 10 years now and still absolutely love it - I have first-hand experience of the great research we are doing there and can honestly say we are doing some really cool stuff! As most of you know I am a keen runner and will normally run much longer distances, but I have chosen to do this race with a number of my work colleagues, to run around Cambridge dressed as pink fairies (see photo below!) and help raise money for CRUK.
