My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March, I’m doing immersing myself in cold water every day of the month to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. My partner is having chemotherapy treatment at the moment and I know many other lovely people who have had to go and are going through this experience (also my Uncle John Cadwallader) and so when I saw your March Coldwater Challenge I thought I know that I could do that … I am busy planning my March dips throughout North Wales. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
