My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. One of my close friends was diagnosed recently with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. A team of her friends and family are raising awareness and as much money as possible to fight cancer. I will be taking part with my friend in the Shine Walk in Cambridge on 28 September. Any donations would be so welcome. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.
CAUSE
Breast cancers
Each year, over 56,800 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. That’s more than 150 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat breast cancer.
