A tribute to a woman, who was truly remarkable, and touched so many people, even if she knew them simply for 5 minutes. Being her son I was lucky enough to know her for almost 20 years, and share some incredible memories with someone that had unlimited kindness, the biggest heart and was so loving. All I am left to say is she will be sorely missed, but always remembered and in our hearts, and that I will always love her. This Day, by Dan Greene, dedicated to my mum (and so many other people's second mum) This day, do not shed any tears, For it is the day you must expell your worst fears. Remember the time you met her last, And the memories of the past. For in physical form she is gone, But she will never leave you truly alone. This day, you must celebrate, Not comisorate. For her light still shines, And memories oh so fine. A smile never forgotten, Memories begotten, With a smile. Even if its just for a while. So on this day, Keep the tears at bay, And smile which was her way. So with a laugh and giggle, Her effect was like ripples Getting bigger and bigger. As we are all a tribute to her. So lets try and get some good of such a tragic loss, felt by so many people and actually help a good cause.
