My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! We recently lost 2 much loved friends and colleagues (Lou Broerse and Melissa Lancashire) to cancer, so we are doing this challenge in memory of them and to help raise money for this brilliant cause. And it is a MASSIVE challenge! The Yorkshire 3 Peaks no less! We will trek 24 miles up and down the peaks of Whernside, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough on Friday, 30th July. We will reach a height of 363 metres with little time to admire the views as we move on to tackle the next peak so we can finish in under 12 hours....and we're camping!! Please sponsor us lots! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
