My Story
It’s time to take the next step on my personal wellness journey and cut out meat once and for all. I eat in phases of having chicken and fish and being vegetarian but I think cutting out or down on meat and dairy is so important for us all and this is the perfect way to do it! Cancer has affected so many people I know and the closest person to me has had the most important person to them taken away by this awful disease 😔 you never stop thinking could things have been different if they had the nutritional and health education we have now... So for me your health starts with your nutrition but nutrition alone can not solve this problem. We need charities like Cancer research to carry on looking at the science of cancer and how we look after people who are unfortunate enough to get it. So this November, I will be going vegetarian to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I was going to try a vegan diet again but with it being so close to Xmas with all the chocolate and things I don’t know if I’m ready for that. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
