My Story
We've pretty much all been affected by cancer. Right now I have family members and friends fighting the disease and in recent times close friends have lost parents and others have children battling the disease. I lost my Dad eleven days before he was due to be best man at my wedding and it hurts every day knowing he never got to meet my daughter, Marni. They would have been as thick as thieves by now and best friends forever. So I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for all of my friends and family that have lost someone, and those that are still fighting, in the hope that one day, people won't have to go through this pain any more. Anything you can give is more than appreciated and thanks for reading.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
