My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Cancer now affects 1 in 2 of us at some point of our lives which is staggering! From my own perspective, close family members have and had their own challenges with various forms of the disease and I'm sure that most of you visiting this page will either know someone or indeed had someone close to you suffer as a result of cancer. Research into this deadly disease is paramount if we are going to treat or more importantly find cures so I would ask politely if you could spare anything at all to sponsor me pounding the streets of Newcastle on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
