My Story
Yep, I’ve signed myself up for 100 push-ups a day this September for Cancer Research UK. Why? Well, partly because my dad is currently battling bowel cancer and I wanted to do something meaningful… and partly because I clearly have questionable judgement when someone says, “Fancy a challenge?” Here’s the deal: Some days I’ll look like a proper fitness machine. Other days you’ll see me doing something that vaguely resembles a push-up while questioning all my life choices. Either way, it’s all in the name of raising money for life-saving research. I’m also filming my progress — so you can watch me go from Day 1 enthusiasm to Day 17 spaghetti arms, and (hopefully) a triumphant finish at the end of the month. Think of it as entertainment and a good cause rolled into one. This isn’t a “sad music and black-and-white photos” type fundraiser. I want you to have a laugh watching me try to hit the daily target — while knowing it’s for a cause that means the world to me and my family. So if you can spare a couple of quid, I’d massively appreciate it. You’ll be helping fund research that changes lives… and keeping me accountable when my arms start staging a rebellion. Let’s make a difference — one push-up (and occasional face-plant) at a time. ❤️
