In memory of

Dawn Lazenby

My Story

I am running the Manchester Half Marathon in October in memory of Dawn Lazenby. My mother-in-law, Dawn, passed away in April after an all too brief battle with cancer. Last year Dawn was diagnosed with mesothelioma in her stomach, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that has poor survivability rates. I would like to raise money in memory of Dawn and also to help donate towards researching cures for this type of cancer, so that others don't have to go through the heartbreak our family did when we lost Dawn. Thankyou, James

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
