I'm walking for my Mum and Dad.

In memory of

John and Ann Molyneux

My Story

When I was 7 years old my Dad, who had been suffering from intestinal Cancer, passed away while on Holiday. It changed me even from that age and for a long time I was unable to sleep at night suffering from Nightmares and my poor Mum couldn't deal with me when all I wanted was my Dad. In June of 2009, my Mum had been suffering with 'Stomach pains' when she finally got checked out it turned out to be Ovarian Cancer. I was at Uni at the time and I hated the fact I couldn't be there for her, when I finished Uni I returned home to be with her and look after her. I saw her battle through snow to get to Chemotherapy and I saw her go on Sponsored walks, become a Counsellor and battle the living daylights out of Cancer. She passed away on Boxing day in 2011, she fought it because she wanted her 'Christmas at home' and she got it. After her death I really started to struggle mentally and still till this day do, due to other issues. But I'm determined to do this for them, if they can battle Cancer till the end I can walk 10,000 steps a day, and I still won't be anywhere near as strong as they were.
