My Story
I’ve decided to run a marathon - for the very first time in San Sebastian, Spain - and I’ve decided to raise funds for a cause that’s very close to home. In 2015, my father passed away from oesophageal cancer. He was a humble, quiet, and chill man who battled through chemo and radiotherapy with courage until the very end. His strength, guideance, and the memories we shared stay with me every day. ❤️ In memory of my dad, I’m trying to raise £1,000 to help support research that could prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak. While this marathon is in his honor, I also want to extend it to other family members and loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Every step I take is for them too. My hope is that even this small effort will contribute to life-saving research and bring us closer to a cure. If you’d like to follow my journey, please consider supporting me by making a donation through my page, or simply following along as I train and run. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. 🏃

CAUSE
Oesophageal cancer
Each year, around 9,400 people are diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in the UK. That’s 26 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat oesophageal cancer.
