My Story
I am honoured to be taking part in my company's Early Careers Charity Challenge in support of cancer research, as part of team To Beat Cancer (TBC). Each year, annual UK cancer diagnosis has reached well beyond 400,000 new cases, showing the drastic widespread impact cancer has and how it can affect just about anyone. Me and the team are determined to fight back against all cancer through supporting medical advancements, research and giving hope to all those impacted - Whether directly or indirectly. Personally, I plan on partaking in four fundraising activities, each becoming more and more daring, including the most ambitious fundraising activity ever carried out for my company's charity challenge! More details are to follow as the time comes nearer to my participation, but here is a brief list of what's to come: Team TBC Group Hike 24 Hour London Tube Challenge Head Shave Cycling Challenge (Edinburgh Waverley to London Kings Cross, 488 miles!) All donations will be very much appreciated as they will all play the part in supporting this important cause, adding up to the teams' ultimate goal. Thank you all for your support!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
