My Story
Many of you already know I lost my Amazing Mum to an aggressive form of cancer in 2015...she was taken too soon by this awful disease. The Shine Night Walk Marathon is something I've been meaning to participate in for a while now and I can't think of a better way to help raise funds, honour those fighting their daily battles and in memory of friends / family that lost their fight. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
