Too many are effected by cancer in some way, including myself and my family. I'm doing the 5km run this year to help those currently battling cancer and those who have passed and those who have beaten cancer! I just want to mention many family members have been closely effected by cancer and I want them all to know I am doing this for you. My cousin Steph, she is very special to me and I want to share what a strong and insperational woman she is to everyone. She discovered a lump in her breast in October 2017 and was later diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2017. She has recently completed chemotheropy and is continuing her next step to beating cancer which is radio therapy, words cannot describe how much I admire her strength and determination.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
