Jade's Race for Life

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am taking part in Race For Life with my work team this year.. we might dress up, we might do it three leggged, who knows.. but you’ll definitely get a hilarious picture! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I’ve worked at CRUK head office for over a year now, and can honestly say so much hard work goes towards our aim of beating cancer. Most people are impacted by cancer in one way or another, and your sponsorship will go towards improving treatments, diagnosis, and prevention of cancer to improve prospects for all. These are just some of the things that your money will go towards... Just £5 goes towards kitting out our labs with essentials they need to do day to day experiments. £15 can cover the cost of prevention and diagnosis, such as a visitor seeking health information from one of our mobile units. £30 may improve treatments by covering the cost of a trial for the day. Don’t forget we receive no government funding and run solely on the generosity of you lot!
