Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. As some of you may already be aware, this is very real for my family at the moment. My wonderful step-dad was diagnosed in March of this year. He has prostrate cancer which has spread to different areas of his body. We don’t know the prognosis yet or what it will look like in the future for us as a family but what I do know is that we will never stop fighting for him, even on the days he feels like giving up. Unfortunately there are too many people loosing their lives to this cruel disease. Every little helps and for me this is a personal challenge. Times are so hard, financially at the moment so I don’t expect big donations, just whatever you can, we like so many others will be eternally grateful xx

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
