Everybody knows somebody who has been affected by cancer. Like many others, I have had to watch both of my grandads battle cancer. My grandad Bob sadly passed away in 2012 after a long fight with cancer, and whilst my other grandad passed away from dementia only last year, he also fought cancer at the same time, only making his dementia even worse. Every year, myself and Sophie love taking part in the mud run, as it's not only a fun day, but also very emotional and a great chance to raise money for such an important charity. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
