My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. It will be 10 years this year that my Nan lost her battle with Cancer, and even though 10 years have passed, it's still as raw today as it was the day she went. My Nan was strong, funny, amazing and the rock of our Family ... If I can raise money to make a difference to other families then it will be worth it! Everyday families and friends go through heartbreak due to one word ... CANCER ... and I want to help where I can to stop that word destroying people's lives so PLEASE if you can, donate as much or as little as you can so we can fight to end the heartbreak and despair that it brings in to all of our lives x Here's to you Nan, my Nan, Friend, Mentor and for showing me that no matter what if we have strength we can take anything on.
