I’m am motivated by everyone who has or is currently battling this terrible Desease.
Someone very close to us is currently battling cancer and I feel helpless that I can’t heal or take away the hurt and pain. Cancer not only affects the person fighting, it affects all those who love, care, cherish and surround them. We need to find a cure and to do that scientist need funding. I have run a marathon before and I’m well aware of the struggles we have ahead of us but those struggles are nothing compare to the obsoitcles, pain and hurt a cancer fighter goes through. Sometimes fighters have to admeat defeat and this evil desease takes control but they never stop fighting and pushing through so why should we...we will run 26.2 miles on April 7 and we will do it in the knowledge that we are giving back just a little to help find a cure. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
