Wife, Mum, Nana and friend. As a family we are wanting to raise money for cancer research, specifically for ovarian cancer, as it is one of the most invisible fierce cancers, by running race for life in October. After being told continuously for 10 weeks the unknown swelling was a hernia to finding out it was advanced spreading cancer, not only shocked us, but broke the hearts of us all. We want to be able to to help others who may be in the same situation and help put towards the research into female health. As a family we want to be able to do this together to show the love and support we share, we would be happy with any kind of donations.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
