My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. I lost my dear friend to Cancer 2 years ago. I miss her every day. I took up running shortly afterwards and struggled to run even 1 km at the beginning. I can't believe I can now run 10km!! I couldn't believe the pain I was in when I first started running but it was nothing compared to the pain that Judith suffered. She was so strong and a true inspiration to me. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
