My Story

Hey Family and Friends, You all know that we have lost dear friends and family members to cancer. However, the good news is that because of donations and research, more cancers are treatable and more people are surviving this awful disease. Last year you helped me raise a record amount when I did the Race for Life 2020, (remember the tutu and wings? Minnie certainly does!). This March I'm shaking off the winter/lockdown blues by walking 10,000 steps a day to WALK ALL OVER CANCER. I'm not the most active person, so I was reluctant to go public too soon in case I fizzled out, however, 1 week in and I've already done 78,000 steps and nearly 50 km. It couldn't be easier to donate a little something to the cause. No big gestures required, I'd love it if 50 people gave the price of a coffee and cake, (Oxford price obvs), then if I hit my target, I won't make Minnie wear the fairy wings this time. Honest.

CAUSE

Pancreatic cancer

Each year, around 10,800 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK. That’s 30 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat pancreatic cancer.
