My Story
In the late 90s I had a good friend, her name was Annette (Nettie) we both gave birth to daughters within a few months of each other and spent a great great deal of time together. She was the sweetest most honest, genuine caring person I’ve ever known to this day. When her daughter turned two, Nettie started to get very unwell and after several trips to the doctors, she was diagnosed with leukaemia. She was registered with the Anthony Nolan bone marrow trust, but after 18 months, they could not find a 100% match. Time was getting short for her so it was agreed she would have a bone marrow transplant with a donor that was not a complete match.. sadly it didn’t work and she passed away in 2000. I am doing this for you, Nettie… I miss you beautiful ❤️
