3 generations accepting this challenge in honour of Sally Parr who is an inspiration to all.
We will not be doing any running - just walking this course will be a challenge, particularly for Sally. The past year has been the worst of my life watching Sally going through 6 operations, chemo & radiotherapy. She has dealt with every hurdle with humour & courage & always manages to smile, however tough things become. She is an inspiration to all & has even inspired me to overcome my phobia of injecting insulin into my stomach! So the 3 generations team of Nathanael, Sally, Sharon & I are coming together to raise money for this wonderful charity who make it possible for more & more people to beat this disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
