My Story
We all know what cancer is and how serious it is. Every year, we lose more than 166000 lives in the UK only – this means every 4 minutes someone in the UK dies from cancer. Some of us may have been affected by it personally, some may have lost a loved one but, hopefully, most of us will never have to deal with it. With this challenge, I’m trying to raise awareness about the support available, whether it is medical, financial or psychological, and to fundraise for projects around the world aiming at providing easier and earlier diagnosis, better and less invasive treatment and understanding what causes this disease and therefore prevent it. I appreciate the pandemic may have impacted finances, but if you have even just some spare change, please support me by donating. Even £5 mean a saved life somewhere. I look forward to sharing updates on how I’m getting on with this challenge. Thanks!
