I am planning to run 3 races over 3 months to raise money for Cancer Research.
My Story
The furthest I have run before is 10km so I wanted to challenge myself this year to do a half marathon. I ran the Edinburgh Kilomathon on 8th April 2018, a distance of 13.1km that started at Ocean Terminal and finished at Murrayfield Stadium. I entered the Edinburgh Half Marathon on 27th May. This distance seemed impossible for me but I started training in January and with a lot of help from my running club friends I managed to complete the run. The final race is the Bristol Race for Life 10km which I am running with my sister Denise. Wish me luck!!
