Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. I wanted to pick something that was going to be a real challenge for me, and this is most definitely it. Anyone who knows me will understand how difficult this challenge is going to be for me, but I am determined to succeed for a good cause. Dealing with cancer is such a battle for everyone involved, the patient, their family and their friends. It can be devastating. I know it is only one of many illnesses for which a cure is still being sought, but it is a cause close to my heart. I still remember how hard chemotherapy hit my Mum, and I am so proud of the members of my family who have gone through the same devastating treatment in the last 18 months. It is time for me to give something back for the medical advancements which have resulted in the treatments we have today. A contribution to finding a new treatment which isn't so debilitating. Help me contribute towards finding a cure for all cancers.
