As some of you may know, this year mine and my partner Sarah’s lives were turned upside down when her mum was diagnosed with cancer. I’m running this race for life alongside Sarah to show my support for her and also to help raise some much needed money to help us defeat cancer once and for all, a disease which at present 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with in their lifetime. Your support and generosity is much appreciated and will spur me on to run that extra bit faster!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
