2021 Manchester Marathon

My Story
On the 10th October 2021 I'll be running the Manchester Marathon (and hoping to finish!) and shall be doing so in aid of Cancer Research UK. Cancer, specifically breast cancer, has left its mark on the ladies in our family. It is with continued research and the progression of treatments, diagnosis and care that the number of successful remissions can continue to improve. As of today, almost 9 out of 10 women with breast cancer (85%) are expected to survive. This is a remarkable and very real improvement in my lifetime. This will be my first marathon.. and first ever proper running race! So your support would be greatly received.. and definitely needed! I'll do my best to keep you updated on my progress (..ups and downs!) and hope you will get behind me to raise money for an important and enduring cause. Thanks, see you at the finish!! Jack
