Jackie's Veg Pledge

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. I will be going vegan this November to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please show your support with a donation to my page. Almost everyone I know has been affected by this shitty illness in one way or another and I’m sure you all feel the same. As many people know, my dad has been kicking it’s ass daily for over 7 years. The good thing is, he’s tougher than Cancer and he's constantly giving it the middle finger! And he will keep on doing it until cancer pisses off!!!! If it wasn’t for Cancer Research, he wouldn’t be here today. The treatment he has received has been amazing and far beyond what was available even 10 years ago. This has all been possible because of Cancer Research. We sometimes don’t get behind a cause until it affects us personally. But sometimes that’s too late. Cancer Research has helped to develop more sophisticated treatment which is allowing people to live. This is all for a good cause and I’m not looking to change the world but every little counts.
