To help raise money for more life saving treatment,
In memory of
My journey and my mum
On 15th March 2016, I was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of breast cancer. For a while, my world stopped turning. I had watched my mother die of cancer, and now I faced the battle myself. I went through 8 rounds of intensive chemotherapy, followed by 2 major surgeries. I don't know what I would have done without the unwavering love and support of my family and friends. Today, I am clear of cancer! I owe my life to the treatment I received. Cancer Research really does matter, and I am living proof that their work really does save lives. I am still recovering from my treatment and therefore am not yet up to doing 10k, but I want to do something constructive for this amazing charity. Whatever you can afford to give would be hugely appreciated. Below is some further information on cancer and donating: Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
