I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. I’m so lucky to be finishing my sixth year of remission from acute myeloid leukemia and want to help others survive too.
In memory of
Reg Geary, Sally Geary and Jane Brooks
My Story
Whilst I am celebrating the sixth year of my own remission in the last year my oldest daughter Liv has come through her own experience with cancer. Thankfully she is now cancer free and being monitored closely for next few years. Having lost close family and friends to cancer I am determined to help as many others be as lucky as Liv and I. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
